February kicks off with a Full Moon in tropical Leo, opposing the big planetary lineup in Aquarius. This Leo Full Moon represents a brief break from the heavy and challenging dynamics that have been building over the past weeks, all of which will be intensifying this month.
As with many Full Moons, there’s a culmination of activity and events leading to a collective and personal fulcrum. Hopefully, we can grasp some of the more playful and creative energy of the Leo archetype here, a symbol of joy and expressiveness that can lighten up the mood and focus.

With Uranus’ direct station too, there’s the element of surprise, revelation, and breakthrough that amplifies the Full Moon’s culminating energy and symbolism—perhaps a needed “aha” moment or perspective that makes the more challenging collective dynamics a bit easier to manage.
Of course, Aquarian symbolism is strongest on the other side of the Full Moon equation, and Pluto (as discussed last week) is a big part of it, magnifying our collective shadow work. Naturally, it might feel as if some impending societal doom awaits us any minute.

Aquarius’s higher expression, beyond mobbish groupthink and conformity, is integrating our unique abilities and perspectives into a larger whole. The value and power of authentic community, mutual support, and coming together toward a shared purpose and vision are exceptionally strong. We can glimpse some of that around this Full Moon too—stepping out into the light, sharing our gifts, and balancing personal and collective goals and perspectives.
