This month’s second Full Moon (and Blue Moon) in tropical Sagittarius is an expansive release of energy, along with the onslaught of a lot of dynamic stimulus and activity. There can also be a sense of strong direction, mission, or serendipitous happenings around this Full Moon, a sense of something falling into place, blossoming, and growing in momentum.

The Moon itself falls at the head of a yod formation involving Venus and Mars, with Sun-Uranus opposing from Gemini—drawing our focus to an emerging horizon, renewing hope and faith in a personal or collective dream, vision, or purpose. Yet, Full Moons are also concluding energies, bringing closure, or represent a landing point within a larger process.

This Full Moon can bring about a boost of encouragement in what we’ve been engaged with, a slight nudge forward, or bring a tangible result or reward. With Sagittarius, and its ruler Jupiter (currently aligning with Venus) there can be some intense emotional and creative energy brewing here.

Lastly, the Sun-Moon’s opposition, squaring the nodes suggests being at a crossroads, though paradoxically one that feels like an arrival. While there is more to do and continue with, the restlessness of these mutable signs suggests less stable, settling dynamics, more shifting, changing, and passing through to the next stage of growth and expansion.
