July's Full Moon in tropical Capricorn culminates alongside Saturn's retrograde station and a week before Mercury's retrograde cycle begins. Saturn, as the ruler of this Full Moon and aligned with Neptune, is a dominant symbolic reflection point, suggesting this Full Moon serves as a transitional stage for focusing (or refocusing), reflection, and slowing down.

As we especially head into Mercury retrograde (July 17/18-August 11), this is a good time to pause and consider more carefully areas of focus and expansive activity. We are entering a brief period of revision and alteration, which can be optimized now with careful planning and specific attention, all things Capricorn excels at.

Saturn's station in its near conjunction to Neptune carries tremendous personal and collective meaning. On one level, there can be a sense of certain dreams coming true, the culmination of a vision, fantasy, or ideal manifesting more tangibly, especially with anything well-planned and grounded. In another layer, there can be a harsh coming to grips with reality, becoming more conscious of certain limitations or restrictions that we overlooked in favor of a dreamier or loftier version.

Paradoxically, the two can occur side by side, presenting a push and pull between the ideal and real and a more focused look ahead for the next major moves. Yet, whichever side of this Full Moon we experience, there is likely a sense of a new stage we must now enter, especially regarding the concretization or realization of whatever we aspire to achieve and make real. This is a core aspect of Saturn-Neptune and a higher end we can take advantage of.
