At first glance, October’s Taurus Full Moon looks a bit heavy and daunting. It features a square from recently stationed Pluto, a conjunction with Chiron, an opposition from Venus retrograde, and it follows Mercury’s retrograde station in Scorpio (bringing us deeper into a few weeks of revision and readjustment).

We are likely to feel more the Pluto/Scorpio realm here—increased emotional/psychological intensity, deep feels, and raw honesty. Yet this can also be deeply healing on some level, or at least highly revealing and clarifying about issues we’ve been sitting on.

Gaining deep insight into the past feels like a solid piece of this energy. Since this is a Full Moon, there is something very conclusive and clarifying here. Also, the tide is shifting from what has been more raw, real, and intense.  We can look forward to the more pleasant side of Venus over the next few weeks, with much more serendipitous flow.

Still, especially on a collective level, this is some heavy Full Moon energy, and it all looks rather cathartic. The darker side can be an eruption of deeply repressed energy and dynamics, and a hard look at what’s defective and maladaptive. But that more honest view can catalyze important, vital movement. It shows us a way forward and sets us on course for positive resolution.

November's Full Moon in tropical Taurus aligns with Uranus and makes supportive aspects to Neptune and Pluto. We are reaching a monthly crescendo in the lunar cycle, a time of fruition and concretization. Saturn's direct station alongside this Full Moon adds some level of conflict and paradox as the freedom-seeking spontaneity of Uranus struggles against the more pragmatic and disciplined Saturnian archetype.

There is the reality of some immovable elements we're likely to meet as this lunation gives voice to the Uranian desire to innovate and break free of particular circumstances. Yet, Saturn's direct station also suggests a more productive and definitive phase is opening, one that favors getting more structure and ambition on our side. With Saturn in Pisces, spiritual work and discipline are beginning to show results, enhanced by the free-flowing insight into unconscious and numinous realms via Neptune and Pluto.

The earthy, fixed sign of Taurus suggests sudden (maybe unexpected) shifts and changes in material affairs (like dealing with money or resources). The dominance of Saturn and Uranus can integrate here, giving more shape and form to things we've been conceptualizing and desiring. Saturn can relate to a confrontation with both limitations but also the results of consistent effort and commitment.

While there is some rising instability, it can break up stagnant energy and routines. Uranus incites us to integrate a fresh dynamic or perspective, so go with the flow of novel directions and opportunities as they arise over the following days. Breaking off into new creative directions via the spontaneous emergence of hidden insights and perspectives is another theme of this Full Moon that we can mindfully engage with and make practical use of.
