September's New Moon in tropical Virgo is the final solar eclipse of the year and stimulates the Aries Point (AP) axis and Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Also, it occurs just before the equinox on the anaretic degree of Virgo (29 degrees). Symbolically, this eclipse suggests a major push forward or even an explosive type of energy that will infuse itself into this dynamic transitional point in the year.
There is a notable line-up of objects happening here: Sun, Moon, Earth, Saturn, and Neptune form a direct alignment in the solar system. This planetary chain also coincides with the peak of the current solar maximum cycle, characterized by dynamic sunspot activity and intense space weather that generates significant energy in the planetary sphere, manifesting in critical social and natural events worldwide.

There is definitely a level of conflict inherent in the Saturn-Neptune and Sun-Moon opposition, especially when it occurs on the boundary-pushing AP axis, reflecting a struggle to overcome certain barriers or restrictions that limit the concretization of a desired reality. There is also a visionary, spiritual, and transpersonal dimension to this eclipse that we can implement powerfully in creative ways.
The Virgo archetype reflects idealism channeled through concrete service, self-improvement, and the pragmatic embodiment of a transcendent vision. Virgo is about walking the walk and living true to one's morality, ethics, and highest vision. With Virgo, we bring down to earth and attempt to implement what can never be fully realized or known, but the effort gets us part way, imparts some imprint into the physical world of something beyond.
There can be some structures dissolving here, and even some disillusionment in relation to certain beliefs, ideals, or idealized figures. The Neptunian archetype's transpersonal dimension suggests a level of fate and contact with aspects of life and reality we have no control. Yet, all of this opens up space for something new, especially a new vision and dream, pushing the boundaries of what's possible for ourselves and the world we inhabit, allowing us to move on to the next level.
A solar eclipse is a powerful starting point, initiation, and transformative portal. As a south nodal eclipse, we must release and let go of some baggage and limitations to move ahead, and with Neptune involved, perhaps also some delusions and false perceptions. However, there can be a positive uplift from this eclipse that can set us further toward perfecting our vision and gaining more competence and skilfullness to make our vision real.
